Artist Studio + Movie

A place for you to enjoy being creative in the company of others.

Join us for this Artist Studio in the “Library” at Mount Olive. As a special treat this month is that we will be watching a most wonderful musical movie that involves a company of circus performers. We just can’t say the title here because of the limits of our church video license. Just send an email our way if you want to know ahead of time.

As for the art: bring your own project to work on, or use our supplies to try something new. We are always happy to share our supplies and our knowledge of different techniques and art forms.

Artist Studio: Open Studio

A place for you to enjoy being creative in the company of others.

The Olive Branch Artist’s Studio is a place where people gather to do art.  Sometimes, we have artists lead workshops on different mediums and techniques.  Other days we gather, bringing whatever we wish to work on in the company of other lovely, gifted, struggling, amazing people.

We believe that creative expression is one of the best ways we can let all the pandemic and other life emotions be felt – and set free. Join us as we learn, experiment and create together.

We meet almost every Monday from 6:30 – 8:30 in what is called the “Fellowship Hall” at Mount Olive. It is a very large space that allows for ample distance between tables in this pandemic time.  To reserve a space – sign up on Eventbrite for the date(s) that interests you.

Mondays, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
October 19, 2020 – April 19, 2021

Artist Studio: Alcohol Inks with Lisa Janke

We have a consecrated space for you to be this winter.

It’s a real-life place in what we call our “Fellowship Hall” to learn new creative things and practice them, to experiment, to fall flat on your face, to laugh, to lament and to discover new joy.  Creative expression is one of the ways we can let all the pandemic and other life emotions be felt - and set free.

Sometimes, we will have artists lead workshops on different mediums and techniques.  Otherwise, show up for open studio time to work on whatever you’d like in the company of other lovely, gifted, struggling, amazing people like you.

We practice careful social distancing with masks. Register to claim a station.

Limit: 10 persons.
